India vs West Indies 3rd ODI cricket match

India vs West Indies 3rd ODI cricket match is set to be played tomorrow. The 2011 series is going India’s way and now many expect it to be a 3-0 for India

India-vs-westindies
India vs West Indies tour is proving a damp squib as the tour is lacking any luster and interest due to the absence of the leading batsmen including the best of all Sachin Tendulkar, the most destructive of all Virendra Sehwag, the cool headed and regular captain MS Dhoni besides other leading players.

But the way West Indies have played the game, they have showed that their batting is spineless and their bowling devoid of quality and variations. They have neither pace nor good spin bowling attack and their fielding is nothing short of pathetic.

Indian batsmen have played the matches with unmatched coolness. Despite losing some early wickets a few regular international players have ensured that they play long inning and win the day for their team.

Rohit Sharma in the first match and Virat Kohli in the second match came to the rescue of their team. This showed that they were aware of their added responsibility due to the absence of leading players of the team.

Suresh Raina too has played a big role in his team’s victories. He has been able to utilize the few bowling options with great precision. He has rotated the bowling. In the last game when Praween Kumar was giving away too many runs, he introduced Amit Mishra who rattled the almost well set batting line of the host nation.

Munaf Patel has proved his worth by always taking wickets when it were needed and giving his captain more confidence in him and his abilities to swing the ball and take wickets.

There were many people in India who had criticized the BCCI for sending this week team to a full tour to West Indies. But it is proving too much for the Caribbean nation’s team.

India is expected to retain the same team that played in the first two matches. West Indian side must be ruing the lack of services of inform Chris Gayle, who has not been included in the host side.
